Car soccer is a sport made up of three cars per team. Object of the game is to have as many points as possible at the end of time limit. We will run brackets no byes, double elimination ( soccer ball is around 12lbs and is 6ft tall).
CAR BUILDING
Cars must be 4 or 6 cylinder front wheel drive only. Basic compact car build
Cars must be stripped of all glass, chrome, pot metal, all carpet and head liners. You may leave dash in.
Gas tanks if in front of rear axel may remain in factory position. If you must move it put it in back seat area and make sure it is secured firmly no movement.
Tires DOT approved LT truck tires is the maximum you may have
Doors may be welded, chained or nine wired. Make sure all sharp ends are duct taped and bolts are taped. NO SHARP ENDS.
Hood, Trunk, Hatch backs my be wired or chained. All sharp edns and bolts must be taped.
Battery must be placed in front passengers side floor and firmly secured. NO MOVEMENT. Must be covered.
Bumpers must be stock bumpers if trimmed no sharp edges and must be taped. You may use two loops of chain to hold bumper on. Bolts must be taped.
Team cars must be painted same color with different numbers on each one so we can identify drivers.
SOCCER REGULATIONS
6-8 teams allowed, unless otherwise noted on schedule. Run double elimination brackets, no byes, heats will be 15 minutes.
If ball gets trapped in corner for 20 seconds it will be brought back to the middle.
If ball gets knocked out of bounds, team that did not knock it out wil receive it when it comes back into play.
The team with the most points at the end of time limit will be the winner.
If no points are scored we will have free kicks for each car.For free kicks you must slide the car side ways and hit the ball with the side of the car. The team that has the most points out of the kicks wins.
We know there will be some contact in this game, we have no problem with that, but if you are just trying to play demo derby the person or persons will be put in a penalty box for 2 minutes before he may help his team again.
We will draw to see how brackets will be set up.
This is new and exciting game. Some contact to make it exciting and controlled enough to be able to use your car again.
